Urecoats Industries, Inc. (OTCBB:UREC), a developer, marketer and distributor of sealant and coating products announced today that its Board of Directors has

approved the formation of a roofing and waterproofing company which will begin work in Florida during the first week of January.

The new subsidiary, Urecoats Roofing of Florida Inc., will be based in Pompano Beach. During the past several months, the Urecoats 100 Rubber Sealant Membrane (RSM) has been successfully applied to commercial roofs in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida.

With the successful applications of the Rubber Sealant Membrane, a demand for a full-time application company was realized.

"We have made a fundamental decision to enter the roofing industry through the establishment of our own roofing subsidiary," said Richard J. Kurtz, Chairman and CEO of Urecoats Industries Inc. Kurtz announced that a roofing industry veteran, Paul Cooper, will be the President and responsible for the day to day operations of the new company. Cooper, who has more than 12 years of roofing application experience, will reside in South Florida.

"I've seen Paul Cooper successfully operate a roofing company for more than 10 years and know that we will immediately begin generating revenues," said Kurtz.
