Engines use air or liquid cooling.

The Vanguard V-Twin Big Block line of engines offers air and liquid cooling, with power ranging from 25-35 hp. The engines provide economical power, increased horsepower-to-weight ratio, and the same mounting footprint for either air- or liquid-cooled applications. Each features advanced debris management incorporated into the air-cooling system to allow the engine to run cooler and cleaner while enhancing durability and performance. Tuned intake and exhaust provide quieter running.
