The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) announced its new slate of officers at its recent convention. In Construction's region, Will Fort III, president of Fort Roofing & Sheet Metal Works, Sumter, S.C., was elected vice president for one year. Serving as NRCA directors are Scott Baxter, vice president of CRS of Monroe Inc., Monroe, N.C.; Will Hamlin, president of Hamlin Roofing Co. Inc., Garner, N.C.; Jeffery D. Orndorff, vice president of Orndorff & Spaid Inc., Beltsville, Md.; and David G. Taylor, president of F.A. Taylor & Son Inc., Baltimore, Md.

James R. Walls Contracting Co. Inc., Clinton, Md., won a Gold Circle Award for Innovative New Solutions — New Construction for St. Coletta of Greater Washington, Washington, D.C.
