Terry's Electric Names New Division Manager

Bob Spickard has been appointed division manager for the West Palm Beach office of Kissimmee-based electrical contractor Terry's Electric, Inc. Spickard is a longtime Florida electrical industry veteran.

Founded in 1979 by B. Terence "Terry" and Jeanne Quigley, the company was originally established to serve the local community following the opening of nearby Walt Disney World. The company now operates branch offices in Tampa, West Palm Beach and Atlanta under the leadership of president and CEO Terry Quigley, Jeanne Quigley and four family members who continue to serve the company since its inception. Included are Mark Neveu, president of the Commercial Division; Tim Quigley, president of the Residential and Service Division; Jim Quigley, president of the Substation/Line Construction Division; and John Neveu, controller.

In May 2002, Terry's Electric, Inc. was acquired by Xcelecom, Inc., a subsidiary of United Illuminating Company which owns 11 specialty contractors performing more than $250 million of work annually.
