Electrical Contractor Finds Niche in Pennsylvania.

Nov. 4--Thirty years ago, when Steve Leer bought a truck, some tools and another contractor's business and founded Leer Electric Inc., most of his work was at homes or farms in and around Dillsburg.

"At the time, the industry was totally different. Whenever anyone needed a fuse or a light bulb, they pretty much came to us because there was no Home Depot or Lowe's," Leer said.
