Las Vegas builder plans homes in High Desert.

May 30--When a Las Vegas developer breaks ground this year on a 444-acre master-planned subdivision in Victorville, it will be among the largest housing developments planned for the city, officials said.

The Crossings will encompass 2,656 single-family and multifamily homes, about 20 acres of open space for recreation, 17 acres of trails and a 12-acre site for an elementary school, according to a release by Focus Property Group.
