Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Development Company Merges with Large Home Builder.

Feb. 12--Iowa's largest home builder has expanded its Eastern Iowa presence through a merger with Cedar Rapids-based High Development Corp.

Regency Homes acquired the residential and commercial construction units of High Development under the deal, financial details of which were not disclosed.

The companies will combine their Cedar Rapids staffs, which will eventually be relocated to a planned 56,000-square-foot Regency Corporate Center on Edgewood Road. <
