1995 building & construction outlook: nonres provides the sunshine.

The overall growth of the construction industry during 1995 is expected to be moderate, although four construction areas hold much more promise than other areas. They include telecommunications, multi-family, industrial and commercial construction. With aggregate construction spending pegged at $456.2 billion, an increase of 4.5% over 1994, 1st and 2d qtr 1995 are expected to realize the most growth, which will slow down appreciably during the later part of the year.
