Turners number one ranking is based on the total value of healthcare construction completed during the year. During 1994 Turner completed healthcare projects totalling $654 million. Projects completed include a medical research building for Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee; Volusia Medical Center in Orange City, Florida; Glassrock Medical Office Building in Sacramento, California and the Childrens Hospital Ambulatory Care Facility in Columbus, Ohio.
The survey included responses from 21 construction management firms, 12 general contractors, 13 design/build firms and nine program management firms.
