The Basic Sciences Complex construction schedule is estimated to run from February 2003 through substantial completion in April 2004.
Florida State's College of Medicine will sprawl over the 216,296 gross square feet of the Basic Sciences Complex located on the western edge of the Main Campus in Tallahassee. The Basic Sciences Complex will feature "Jacobean" architecture consistent with the rest of the campus. Red brick facades with pavilions, ornamental stone details, and pitched roofs punctuated by dormers and gables highlight this style.
