Isleta Casino & Resort opened its new hotel last month. The 201-room resort, located just south of Albuquerque, New Mexico, features a design inspired by the heritage of the facility's operator, the Pueblo of Isleta. The atrium uses shades designed to look like a feather in its five-story glass atrium. An adjacent outdoor spa models a pottery jar, while a circular meeting room resembles a kiva, a space used by Pueblo tribes for ceremonies and social gatherings.
The resort also features four restaurants, meeting and convention space, indoor and outdoor pools, and a daycare center. Cuningham Group Architects of Minneapolis orchestrated the resort's design. Hunt Construction Group and Bradbury Stamm served as the contracting team.
