New airport for Delhi.(Asia Pacific)

Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) has unveiled a model of the new airport terminal being built there. The master plan proposes a new complex to cater for both domestic and international passengers.

Managing Director Mr Srinivas Bommidala has pledged that the new Terminal 3 will be ready before the Commonwealth Games due to be staged in Delhi in 2010. It will have 55 airbridges and 30 remote parking bays. "We estimate that 90% of the passengers using the new terminal would be using the airbridges by 2010. Six will be able to accommodate the Airbus A380 aircraft," he
