OMAN: Construction contract award for planned $38,000,000 airport hangar, LARSEN & TOUBRO (OMAN)...

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The local LARSEN & TOUBRO (OMAN), a subsidiary of LARSEN & TOUBRO (L&T) of India, was recently awarded a construction contract to build a new hangar for the royal flight at Seeb International Airport. According to the terms of the award, L&T will be responsible for building: - A twin-berth hangar capable of housing 2 large commercial

planes; - Operations and workshops structures; - A taxi link to the main runway as well as an apron extension; - An 11 Kv electrical distribution center.

The cost to complete the project has been
