RUSSIA: Construction contract award for planned $300,000,000 international airport terminal,...

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The local Vnukovo Airport recently awarded a construction contract to Germany-based OBERMEYER PLANEN + BERATEN GMBH for a new international terminal. The cost to complete the project, by 2007/2008 has been estimated at $300,000,000.

In addition, the airport reportedly wants to renovate and to extend it landing strip.

OBERMEYER employs a total staff of about 1000 and acts as an independent engineering consultancy.
