Bovis chosen to build new airport terminal.(Bovis Construction Inc.; David Ben Gurion...

An American company called Bovis has been chosen as the lead contractor to build the new terminal at Ben Gurion International Airport. The company will receive $17-20 million to manage the construction of the $850 million facility. Six international companies participated in the tender for the project, which Bovis won as a result of its experience in building other passenger terminals. Participants in the Terminal 2000 tender were asked to set up partnerships with Israeli firms to carry out major portions of the construction.
