Robert W. Mullen has been named chief executive officer of Structure Tone. Based in New York, Mr. Mullen has technical, administrative, marketing, and financial responsibility for Structure Tone operations worldwide. He joins James Donaghy, chairman, and Anthony Carvette, president, in managing the growth and development of Structure Tone. A veteran construction professional, Mr. Mullen has over 26 years of experience in the United States and abroad.

Prior to joining Structure Tone, Mr. Mullen had a 19-year tenure with Skanska USA Building (formerly Sordoni Skanska Construction Co). He held a number of increasingly responsible positions, most recently chief operating officer responsible for northeast, mid-Atlantic and Puerto Rico operations.

Before assuming that role, Mr. Mullen was executive vice president of Skanska USA Building with global operations accountability. Concurrently, he served as president of Skanska Science and Technology, a new national division he helped form that provided construction services to major pharmaceutical, health care and laboratory/research organizations. One of his major accomplishments was the formation of Skanska Pharma Group, a new services company dedicated to validation and commissioning services for major pharmaceutical clients. Mr. Mullen also served as president and chief executive officer of Sordoni Skanska Construction Co. prior to its consolidation into Skanska USA Building.
