Brazil: Yuasa to build plant in Sao Paulo.

Yuasa will invest US$20mil to build a lead-acid batteries producing plant in Guarulhos, State of Sao Paulo. The plant's starting production capacity will amount to 50,000 units per month. It will start up in the beginning of the next year, and its production capacity may be lifted to 80,000 units per month according to sales response. Yuasa's Brazilian subsidiary will also increase exports to other subsidiaries in Argentina, Mexico and the US with the local production.
