PROJECT OVERVIEW

ATLAS METHANOL is currently said to be gearing-up to build another methanol plant in Trinidad & Tobago. In so doing, the company recently awarded a plant construction contract to Germany-based LURGI AG. Construction plans under consideration call for building a facility with an installed production capacity of 1.7 million tons per year. The new complex, of undisclosed cost, is to be sited at Point Lisas.
