POLAND: Construction plans for proposed 80,000 metric ton per year synthetic rubber...

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The local DWORY SYNTHETIC RUBBER, a subsidiary of DWORY FIRMA CHEMICZNA SA, is currently involved in the production of chlorine, polystyrene, solution styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) and styrene. And, the company recently announced that it was planning to increase its synthetic rubber production capacity by some 50%.

As things currently stand, the Polish company is said to be studying plans for the construction of new plants with installed production capacities of: - 35,000 to 40,000 metric tons per year (mt/y) of polybutadiene
