Bentley worked with CIMS Software Systems Ltd., a subsidiary of Ludan Engineering Co. Ltd., a leading engineering organization in Israel, to integrate this new technology in its PlantSpace suite and create a powerful instrumentation and electrical engineering CAE product.

In today's quality driven competitive industry, the maintenance of instrumentation and related electrical plant records (drawings, data sheets, maintenance documentation, etc.) is of prime importance. To continue enhancing Bentley's PlantSpace suite of software products for plant engineering and provide its users with a complete, vertically integrated plant engineering solution, Bentley worked with CIMS to incorporate its successful instrumentation engineering and related plant documentation maintenance into its PlantSpace products.

PlantSpace Instrumentation provides a unique, open system which is easily configurable to each client's specific needs, matching preferred standards, database structure, document formats, wiring, cabling concepts and rules, etc. PlantSpace Instrumentation rises to the specific challenge and complexity of instruments engineering needs of today's plant environment. It not only addresses new plant construction engineering issues, but also focuses on the need to document &uot;as-built&uot; plant instrumentation.
