Santa Fe— United Rentals Inc. has opened a branch at 2516 Camino Entrada in Santa Fe, the company's first location in New Mexico's capital city.

The facility showcased the Greenwich, Conn.-based rental company's new capabilities in a grand opening event on Oct. 25. Customers will have access to more than 600 types of equipment and 9,200 contractor supplies at the new branch.

"While our services are most often associated with professional contractors, we also want to invite local business owners, plant managers and the general public to visit our facility and learn about equipment applications," said Yuri Findlay, branch manager.

The Santa Fe branch carries equipment for commercial and industrial construction, renovation and maintenance and also offers services such as equipment delivery, certified safety and professional operator training, and 24-hour emergency response.

United Rentals also has New Mexico branches in Albuquerque, Farmington and Las Cruces.
