Joshua Cofer Honored By FHWA

Georgia Department of Transportation's Joshua Cofer was honored at this year's Annual Employee Appreciation Day by the Federal Highway Administration.

According to DOT Commissioner Harold Linnenkohl, "The FHWA Jim Condron Award is to recognize those employees who go out of their

way, and above the duties required for their position." He added, "Joshua has exemplified the meaning of this award."

Linnenkohl continued, "Joshua is a key member of the construction supervision team on the I-85 at State Route 316 interchange reconstruction project. When assigned to the project, he was in charge of construction of the 23 walls, some of which are quite large and complex. Currently Joshua is overseeing the construction process on 13 bridges. His willingness to handle any assignment without complaint along with his willingness to learn or teach makes him an invaluable member of the team."
