PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Saudi Arabia is currently involved in a $4,300,000,000 program aimed at converting the kingdom's biggest refinery located at Rabigh into what is claimed to be a world-scale integrated refining and petrochemical complex. As a result, the local SAUDI ARAMCO is now said to be in direct negotiation with Japan-based JGC regarding the award of a contract to build a 1.3 million ton per year (t/y) ethane cracker.
