PROJECT OVERVIEW:

The local ZAGROS PETROCHEMICAL, a subsidiary of the NATIONAL PETROCHEMICAL CO. (NPC), recently awarded a methanol plant construction contract to a German/Iranian joint venture. The partners in the planned undertaking include Germany-based LURGI AG and the local PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRIES DESIGN & ENGINEERING CO. (PIDEC).
