PROJECT OVERVIEW

Canada-based PLACER DOME recently completed a final project feasibility regarding the development of its Casale porphyry gold/coper mine in Chile. According to the results of the study, the deposit can reportedly be developed as a large-scale, low- grade, open-pit mine. The property currently belongs to a 51%:49% joint venture that teams-up ARIZONA STAR RESOURCE and BEMA GOLD. However, PLACER can earn a 51% interest in the project by arranging funding and assuming responsibility for the construction works.
