Abstract

The method of strengthening concrete structures with FRP composites has existed for over a decade; the most common way to strengthen structures is in bending, but also wrapping of columns is quite common. There are also needs for strengthening concrete structures in shear, for example concrete beams, slabs, columns, etc. A typical structure can be a parking garage.
