Environmental Technologies Group International announces construction of a briquetting facility...

LEHI, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 31, 1995--Environmental Technologies Group International (OTC Bulletin Board:ETGP), Wednesday announced plans to build a briquetting facility in Utah County.

This briquetting facility will be built in cooperation with Geneva Steel at the Vineyard mill site. Environmental Technologies Group International will manufacture briquettes made from waste material that will be recycled.

The briquette plant will be funded, owned and operated by Environmental Technologies Group International and will employ 15 people. The facility has the capacity to manufacture 100,000 tons of finished briquettes annually, and will be in operation by mid September. The plant is scheduled to be in full production by the end of 1995.

Kirby Cochran, executive vice president of the company, stated, "We are pleased to be able to put this facility into operation in Vineyard. It is the first of its kind, however, Environmental Technologies Group International is currently in discussion with several other steel mills to provide similar type facilities."
