Tritec Building Hires Hirko as President
On April 17, East Setauket, N.Y-based Tritec Building Company announced the hiring of Martin S. Hirko as president. Jim Coughlan, former Tritec president, has taken the position of chief executive officer. Hirko joins Tritec from Gilbane, where he served as executive for New York City operations. Hirko has over 30 years of construction experience, both regionally and nationally, having previously served in senior management roles at Kajima Construction Services and Skanska USA Building, Inc. Coughlan has been president of Tritec since its inception in 1986. During his tenure, Tritec has built more than 4 million square feet of space in the Long Island and Connecticut markets.
