Construction is underway on a new 9,000 square foot KinderCare Learning Center, located at 2460 Clare Lane Northeast, Rochester. Designed to accommodate 151 children, the Rochester KinderCare will be the 42nd operating in the state of Minnesota. The center is expected to be open in April, 2004 and children can be enrolled soon. The Rochester KinderCare will be open Monday through Friday, offering extended hours.
KinderCare Learning Centers nationwide provide a positive learning environment with age-specific learning programs for all ages. KinderCare's curriculum meets the intellectual, social, emotional and physical needs of children.
The Rochester KinderCare will offer a contemporary classroom-style 9,000 square-foot facility. In addition to the regular curriculum, a variety of enrichment and tutorial programs are offered for preschool and school-age children, including Hooked on phonics, a unique reading enrichment program that teaches early reading skills, and instructional computer-integrated learning programs.
The new center will feature an outdoor Playscape, a natural extension of the classroom, offering different settings, surfaces, textures and equipment to stimulate learning and development by providing a variety of play opportunities.
The architect for the Rochester KinderCare project is Tarlos & Associates and the general contractor for the build-out is Real Estate Diversified Inc.
