Construction is underway on a new 10,128 square foot KinderCare Learning Center, located at 26 Carlisle Road, Westford.
Designed to accommodate 183 children, the Westford KinderCare will be the 26th operating in the state of Massachusetts. The center is expected to be open for children ages six weeks to 12 years in January, 2004 and children can be enrolled soon. The Westford KinderCare will be open Monday through Friday, offering extended hours.
KinderCare Learning Centers nationwide provide a positive learning environment with age-specific learning programs for all ages. KinderCare's curriculum meets the intellectual, social, emotional and physical needs of children.
The Westford KinderCare will offer a contemporary classroom-style 10,128 square-foot facility. In addition to the regular curriculum, a variety of enrichment and tutorial programs are offered for preschool and school-age children, including Hooked on phonics, a unique reading enrichment program that teaches early reading skills, and instructional computer-integrated learning programs.
The new center will feature an outdoor Playscape, a natural extension of the classroom, offering different settings, surfaces, textures and equipment to stimulate learning and development by providing a variety of play opportunities.
The architect for the Westford KinderCare project is Architecture, Inc. and the general contractor for the build-out is Trace Construction, Inc.
