NewMech wins national, state safety awards.(INDUSTRY NEWS)

ST. PAUL, MINN. -- NewMech Cos. Inc., a CorVal Group company, has received both national and state recognition for its safety performance.

The Associated General Contractors of America Safety Award was given to NewMech in May for its excellent safety record with "Zero Incidence Rate-50,000 work hours." General contractors and specialty and associated members of AGC participated in the AGC Safety program. NewMech Cos. won the award for being more than 25% lower in its recorded incident rate than the other 2,300 contractors who participated.
