Raising its industry-acclaimed technical support system to a new level, Mitsubishi Electric HVAC Advanced Products Division today introduced its new,
toll-free automated telephone troubleshooting system, making access to detailed technical assistance even easier. The 24/7/365 system offers answers to common questions about Mitsubishi Electric's M and P series HVAC systems, as well as information on parts and availability.
"Our new system provides our network of dealers, distributors and technicians with yet another way to tap into our database of information," explained Gary Nettinger, national service manager for Mitsubishi Electric HVAC. "Whether they're in their office or out in the field, all they have to do is pick up the phone to get answers to common questions that pop up during installations and service calls."
The automated system guides callers through a series of voice prompts in a logical problem-solving sequence. Callers may stop a call at any time during an installation or system check. If a call is paused, a call-back code is issued, which can be inputted later to resume the process at the same point it was stopped. Callers also may "opt out" of a call at any time and be connected to a service center agent, who can route their inquiry to a Mitsubishi Electric service manager.
In the near future, the automated system will be enhanced to allow callers to input a fax number and have instructions, diagrams and other information sent directly to their location.
Mitsubishi Electric HVAC's toll-free automated troubleshooting system may be accessed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, by calling 866/840-4822 from any touch-tone phone in the United States.
