3M acquires NorthStar

NorthStar Chemicals, Inc. announced it has been acquired by 3M for an undisclosed sum. NorthStar is an adhesive manufacturer specializing in ACS applications systems serving the HPL, HVAC, manufactured housing, RV and marine markets.

Vecoplan Midwest opening announced

Vecoplan, LLC., a manufacturer and distributor of industrial shredding and grinding equipment, announced the opening of Vecoplan Midwest, LLC in Floyds Knobs, lnd. Vecoplan Midwest will serve as the sales and distribution arm for Vecoplan equipment in a five-state area, including parts of Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Illinois.

Bingaman & Son Lumber buys St. Mary's Lumber Co.

Bingaman & Son Lumber Inc., headquartered in Kreamer, Pa., announced the purchase of St. Mary's Lumber Company, a sawmill production facility employing 20 people, located in St. Mary's, Pa. St. Mary's current management and staff of will be joining Bingaman & Son Lumber's family of companies.

Bingaman & Son Lumber maintains an inventory of over 10 million bd. ft., with more than 1 million bd. ft. of kiln capacity in its four Pennsylvania locations. Bingaman & Son Lumber is a supplier of quality hardwoods as logs, lumber, strips or dimensions.
