East meets west with Victoria & Albert's Sorrento, a high-volume modern sitting tub inspired by an ofuro, a traditional Japanese bath. Holding 106 gallons of water and featuring an ergonomic bench seat for side-by-side shared use, it allows a luxurious soak, yet uses less water and energy than two individual baths. Sorrento is five ft.-long by three ft.-wide and offers three installation options: fully freestanding with optional hardwood steps, sunken half way with decking and total drop-in with decking to the rim. Available in fall 2005.
