What: A news conference to announce three high-profile tenants of Minneapolis' hot new retail, dining and entertainment block, Block E, a McCaffery Interests, Inc. development.

Where:
Block E is located in downtown Minneapolis (corner of 6th Street and Hennepin Avenue), between City Center and Target Center. News conference will be held in the Block E construction site. Press should enter at 7th Street and Hennepin entrance.
Who: The news event will include brief remarks from Dan McCaffery, President, McCaffery Interests, Inc.; Sharon Sayles Belton, Mayor, City of Minneapolis; Chris Tomasso, VP of Marketing and Productions, Hard Rock Cafe.
Why: Block E is the much-anticipated redevelopment of a city block that had remained vacant for over ten years. The project consists of 210,000 square feet of shopping, dining and
entertainment and is scheduled to open mid-August, 2002.
Block E will include a four-star Renaissance Hotel by Marriott developed by Graves Hospitality Corporation as well as Crown Theatres and GameWorks. Financing is provided by ULLICO, the Union Labor Life Insurance Company, of Washington, D.C.
