When thinking of expanding your knowledge in the Decorative Concrete Industry, come join us! Whether getting started in the industry or expanding and diversifying your present business, attend the "Getting Started in the Field of Decorative Concrete" workshop. This workshop is being held March 27-30, 2007, at DCI's new facility in Temple, Ga. This will be a well-rounded overview of some of the most exciting applications in the decorative concrete business, such as Concrete Countertops (Precast

and Cast-in-Place), Epoxy Systems, Skim Coats, Stamped Concrete, Applications using Stains and Dyes, Polished Concrete, Concrete Engraving and Vertical Stamping.

You will learn about marketing, business strategy land much more. Training is led by DCI founder and president Bob Harris, a seasoned construction professional, trainer and researcher who has personally placed or supervised the placement of more than 3 million sq. ft. of decorative concrete. Join Bob and featured industry leaders as they present and demonstrate these decorative applications. You will also have the opportunity to visit with manufacturers, learn about their products and see what they have to offer you to help with your business needs. The cost of this workshop is $1750 per student for this four-day event.

Besides its world class workshops, DCI also offers several products for decorative concrete contractors. Bob has a series of dyes, available in solvent-based, pre-mixed and powder form and water-based, as well as a line of iridescent flip-flop pigments for epoxies available in several different colors. DCI also offers 2-in. diamond blades in three widths: 1/16 in., 1/8 in. and 1/4 in., along with a 4 in. turbo blade.
