Two teacher-entrepreneurs muscle in on fitness market
Steve Sova's after-school job definitely is more work than a paper route.
Mr. Sova, 37, starts his day most weeks as a social studies teacher for developmentally handicapped students at Eastlake North High School. But when he isn't on campus, he assumes the role of president of the companies which own the three Health and Fitness Equipment Centers in the Cleveland area.
Mr. Sova got into business in 1979, when he invested $1,200 in weightlifting equipment and sold it out of his Lake County home.
