Glaxo Inc has just complete its 56,800-sq-ft sales training center in Research Triangle Park, NC, for $13 million. The British pharmaceutical maker's new training center will serve its sales force of 2,000. Heery International Inc, the project's architect and engineer, incorporated a pod planning concept in the design to allow for future expansion without changing building operations. The building includes a dining pod, training pod, administrative pod and a rotunda that connects all wings.
