Julia B. Fee Real Estate said its ability to serve luxury home buyers interested in Armonk and northern Westchester will be enhanced following its acquisition of a residential real estate brokerage based in the hamlet.
All 23 sales agents and managers of Vannier Real Estate will be retained
"We have effectively followed our tomers, and our customers are looking toward Armonk as well as Chappaqua and Katonah. They are looking toward northern Westchester and its quality communities, all of which have great downtowns, terrific schools and good commutes to (New York) City," said Randall J. Katchis, co-owner of Julia B. Fee.
Katchis said Vannier was especially attractive because it has grown over the past 37 years into a leading brokerage in the Armonk area under owner and manager Susan Maddock, a longtime resident . "What we bring is our brand, our technology and our market share," said Katrhis. He said Julia B. Fee generated $1.5 billion in sales volume last year, placing it second in Westchester only to Houlihan/Lawrence.
Julia B. Fee, Katchis said, also brings a strong Internet presence, as well as solid market research delivered in its periodic Marketwatch reports, and the exposure of its listings through ads in 80,000 homedelivery copies of The New York Times in selected Manhattan and Westchester ZIP codes.
"We are confident that the strength of the Julia B. Fee brand, the progressive technology they offer and their stellar reputation countywide will increase the service we can offer to our customers and clients," Maddock said in a statement.
