CALABASAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 17, 2000

Computer game developer and publisher NovaLogic Inc. today announced the promotion of David Pollack to vice president of sales.

An industry veteran of more than eight years, Pollack worked at software distributor Softkat/Baker & Taylor and at game publisher Trimark Interactive before joining NovaLogic in 1996. Pollack began as a key account manager working domestic and international sales for the company and played an instrumental role in establishing NovaLogic's successful "F-22" and "Delta Force" franchises. Beginning in November 1999, Pollack served double duty as NovaLogic's director of sales and as acting director of marketing.

Pollack's responsibilities as vice president include directing sales and channel marketing of NovaLogic's products in North America as well as distribution in the Asian and South American markets. He'll also oversee product licensing operations and facilitate communications between NovaLogic's Calabasas headquarters and NovaLogic Ltd., the company's London-based subsidiary. It's a job whose scope continues to grow with the company's success.

"Our market share continues to increase on the strength of just two to four releases a year," Pollack said. "That's due to the talent of our development teams and the efforts of sales and marketing to maximize the sales of each title."

"David has managed NovaLogic's sales growth with great success and integrity," said NovaLogic President John Garcia. "We are proud to have him as an integral part of our management team."

Founded in 1985, NovaLogic Inc. is a leading developer and publisher of entertainment software. Subsidiaries include NovaLogic Systems, based in NovaLogic's Calabasas headquarters, and NovaLogic Ltd. in London.
