Solvay Engineered Polymers of Auburn Hills, Mich., announces the formation of a strategic alliance with Thermoplastic Rubber Systems (TRS), based in Shirley, Mass, granting Solvay rights to market and sell TRS's complete line of products. In regard to TRS's NexPrene family of thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs), Solvay will have exclusive rights to market and distribute this product to the automotive industry worldwide, except in Asia.
