Applied Tech Products Inc. has restructured its operation and expanded the scope of its engineered plastics group to include rubber and silicone molding.

A.K. Rubber Products Co., a specialist in precision rubber-molded goods used in the medical device industry and a product manufacturer for the automotive market, has been added to the ATP Engineered Rubber & Plastics Group.

That makes it one of a few firms offering rubber, silicone and plastics component expertise globally, according to group President Carlton Harris.
