Monitoring performance.

Ed Cordner of the National Packaging Covenant explains how and why the strengthened Covenant calls for regular reporting on performance by signatories.

Year 1 of the strengthened Covenant is now over, and the first reporting period for signatories ended on June 30, 2006.

Two areas of concern that arose from the first year of the Covenant were the lack of measurable results and the varying levels of individual company performance.
