DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 28, 1999--
Cambio Inc (OTC BB:CAMB) today announced the release of netRunner(TM) version 4.0.
netRunner(TM) provides the telecommunications professional with an exclusive line of leading edge Operations Support Systems (OSS) products to manage the
netRunner(TM) version 4.0 adds a host of new features. The entire user interface was re-structured to be more efficient and user-friendly. It has been streamlined to provide the end-user with a practical, workflow oriented approach to infrastructure management. A significant new development in version 4.0 is in the area of circuits. The new module, specifically designed to manage circuits, was added to enhance connectivity and bandwidth management. The circuit module allows the user to create and edit circuits and also ties all the circuits to a service request. netRunner(TM) documents a service request and the relevant data such as an order number and type, customer information, circuit identification, and service due dates. Once the service request is entered, netRunner(TM) can then create the circuit by validating its request against available capacity. After the data is entered and the documentation process completed, the circuits can be viewed graphically. The other significant development is the release of netRunner.com, a web-enabled data collection and input tool.
Ali Al-Dahwi, President and CEO, said, "Cambio has paid very close attention to the requirements and requests from its customers as well as industry trends in infrastructure management. This release is a tribute to that and clearly demonstrates our understanding of this market and our customers' needs."
Scott Munden, Director of Products and Technology, commented, "This release represents a milestone in the evolution of our product. Our ability to deliver value added functionality to the market in rapid succession differentiates us from the competition. netRunner.com(TM), our new web-enabled addition to the netRunner(TM) family, netRunner(TM) version 4.0, and our product integration strategy are a very powerful combination in delivering world-class OSS solutions to our customers."
netRunner(TM) is designed to directly improve the telecommunication's time to service metrics. Its end-to-end network modeling capabilities, ease of operations, bandwidth management, provisioning, and field operations allows users and managers to streamline workflow and manage network information accurately, assisting them in enhancing their capital utilization. netRunner(TM) integrates to other applications such as Hewlett Packard's OpenView Communications (OVC)/Service Assurance and OEMF.
