U.S. Vision Acquires 24 Optical Departments FromBoscov's.

GLENDORA, NJ--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 1, 1999--

U.S. Vision, Inc. (Nasdaq:USVI) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of 24 optical departments from Boscov's, a regional department store chain headquartered in Reading, Pennsylvania. The stores are located in Delaware, New

Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. The transaction is expected to be accretive to fiscal 2000 earnings.
