Beau Vrolyk, president and CEO of 3ware(TM) Inc., will present to an audience of storage end-users and financial analysts at Wit SoundView's 2001 Storage conference on

Tues., July 31, from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center in Boston, Mass. Vrolyk was selected to present based on his leadership of 3ware, the leader in IP storage devices, and the only company shipping an iSCSI storage unit. Biography for Beau Vrolyk, President and Chief Executive Officer

As president and CEO, Beau Vrolyk is responsible for the management and strategic direction of 3ware, Inc., the first storage company to utilize Gigabit Ethernet technology to deploy Storage Area Networks. With more than 25 years of experience in systems and network infrastructure, Vrolyk is using his leadership skills to establish 3ware as the industry leader in providing storage solutions across TCP/IP. Prior to joining 3ware, Vrolyk was senior vice president, Product Group, for Silicon Graphics Inc., and was responsible for all manufacturing, engineering, and product marketing for the company. His work with SGI included restructuring the company's software strategy and successfully leading SGI into the emerging Linux space in 1999. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions with Xerox Corporation, Arete Systems (where he was co-founder, president and CEO), Codata Systems, and International Memories Inc. Vrolyk holds a bachelor's degree in Philosophy from California State University, Northridge, and has completed graduate work in Computer Science at Stanford University.
