ProPak China draws close to record attendance.(More Than 8,000 Visitors)

Shanghai--Despite the outbreak of SARS earlier this year, more than 355 companies from 22 countries and a record 10 pavilions from China, France, Germany, Korea, Italy, Japan, Spain, Taiwan region, UK, and the United States participated at the 9th edition of ProPak China 2003 in September.

China's economy has sustained growth of 7.5 to 8 percent amid a global downturn. Demand for technology and materials in the processing and packaging sectors are forecast to reach $7.8 billion by 2005.
