MRV Communications Inc., a provider of products and services for out-of-band networking, WDM and optical transport, metro Ethernet, fiber-optic components, 10G and other service-aware networking products, announced the addition of new transparent transponders for the LambdaDriver family of wave-division multiplexing (WDM) systems, which provide 4-Gigabit Fibre Channel data transport for storage area networks (SANs).
