TANDBERG, a global leader in videoconferencing, today announced that Janice Stein, former senior director of marketing at Cisco, has joined the TANDBERG senior management team as vice president of marketing. With four

years of profitability, an accumulative growth rate in the last decade of 42 percent, and revenues in Q1 2002 of $45M (NOK 407M) - a growth of 61 percent over the same quarter in the last fiscal year - TANDBERG is building steadily towards market leadership in the videoconferencing industry. The appointment of Ms. Stein to the executive team is the latest step in the Company's plan to capitalize on the growing demand for its videoconferencing solutions, particularly in the North American market.

Prior to joining TANDBERG, Ms. Stein was senior director of marketing at Cisco Systems, Inc., responsible for developing, launching and managing Cisco's life cycle of direct and channel service programs targeted at enterprise and commercial customers. Ms. Stein brings 20 years of high technology business experience including managing all facets of marketing - marketing strategy development; product management; channel strategy and programs; channel recruiting and relationship management; communications; planning and budget management. Prior to Cisco, Ms. Stein was vice president of marketing for Technology Solutions Company, a global systems integrator. Ms. Stein holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a BS in Engineering from the University of Illinois.
