More than 550 securities industry professionals will participate in this year's program.

SII, a professional educational program administered by the Securities Industry Association (SIA), attracts selected securities industry professionals to the Wharton campus for one week in March for three consecutive years. The curriculum is taught by top academics, leaders in the securities industry, and experts from various sectors of the business community.

"This is the only curriculum for industry professionals that is this broad, extensive and intensive--where working people can not only enhance their knowledge of the industry, but work on their own personal development and education," said Ms. Dudack. The program includes courses on industry knowledge, investment knowledge, and professional skill development.

Courses, many taught by Wharton faculty, range in topics from professional conduct, market structure and efficient back office systems to learning how to deliver positive criticism and manage the stresses of work and family.
